It's been a few months since I've lasted posted. As I expected, getting into the full swing of things with the kids and homeschooling, as well as making big changes with our business, means a lot less free time to reflect.
However, in seeing where I left off back in early October, I am quite pleased to see just how much fun I managed to have given my responsibilities.
My dear husband and I pulled off a fun Halloween as Batman and Cat Woman. He even showed up in a tux as Bruce Wayne and changed into his Batman costume midway through the dance party. Absolute fun!
We managed to check off another Catskill's 3500 Mountain - Hunter Mountain. Difficult hike, but absolutely beautiful. Looking forward to hitting some real winter peaks before the season is done.
We spent the New Year's with our dance family, as has been our new tradition the past 5 years. Such a great time!
And with all of that, we even managed to pull off the perfect birthday party for my middle son - a volcano themed birthday party with a cake that looked like a pizza, no less. His reaction to his birthday party - totally stoked. I am so glad that given the holidays and everything on our plate, we still managed to help make our son's birthday wishes come true. (Separate blog post on that will shortly follow!)
So with the new year upon us, I am looking forward to the adventures that are in planning, and those that have yet to be planned. I am looking forward to improving upon our services to our long time clients and making the business run even more efficiently than ever. I am looking forward to seeing our children continue to grow and learn, all at their own pace. I am looking forward to celebrating another year of marriage to a wonderful man, one whom I've been with going on 20 years in total.
All in all, it's a New Year, and there are new adventures on the horizon and I am so thankful and glad that I have such wonderful family and friends in my life to help make this year another great one to write about!
